{"id":1366,"date":"2026-06-08T09:39:39","date_gmt":"2026-06-08T09:39:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reliablemovingcrews.com\/?p=1366"},"modified":"2026-06-08T09:39:39","modified_gmt":"2026-06-08T09:39:39","slug":"french-jet-on-nato-mission-shoots-down-drone-in-latvian-airspace-army-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reliablemovingcrews.com\/?p=1366","title":{"rendered":"French jet on NATO mission shoots down drone in Latvian airspace, army says"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><div>RIGA, June 8 (Reuters) &#8211; A French military Rafale \u200bfighter jet shot down a drone on Monday that entered NATO \u200ccountry Latvia&#8217;s airspace from Russia, the latest in a series of such security incidents along Europe&#8217;s eastern border regions.<\/div><div>The Latvian army, without saying who had launched the drone, said \u200bit had entered from Russia &#8220;as a result of Russian electromagnetic warfare&#8221;.<\/div><div>&#8220;Allied \u200bfighter jets successfully shoot down a drone flying into Latvian airspace!&#8221; \u2060it said in a post on social media X.<\/div><div>Authorities had earlier on \u200bMonday warned people in eastern Latvian regions to seek shelter indoors because of \u200bthe threat.
