June 9 (Reuters) – Iran’s football federation (FFIRI) said on \u200bTuesday that its \u200cticket allocation for the World Cup has \u200bbeen pulled \u200bjust days before football’s \u2060global showpiece kicks \u200boff, leaving supporters \u200bwho had already made travel plans unable to \u200battend their \u200bteam’s matches.<\/div>\n
“This is despite the \u200cfact \u2060that many Iranian football fans, relying on the officially \u200bannounced \u200bprocess, \u2060had already made the necessary \u200bplans to \u200battend \u2060the matches,” the FFIRI added in \u2060a \u200bstatement.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
