Still, the reality is that \u200ba resolution won’t \u200bpush oil prices \u2060back to the levels they were before the war and the energy supply chain will take time \u200bto recover, meaning inflation worries are going nowhere and \u200bneither \u2060are calls for higher-for-longer rates.<\/div>\n
Traders are now fully pricing in a 25-basis-point rate increase from the U.S. Federal Reserve in January 2027, a stark reversal \u2060from \u200btwo rate cuts expected this year before \u200bthe war began.<\/div>\n
