Our strategy reflects that, with Europe being our \u200blargest growth engine and our plan to manufacture Polestar 7 in \u200bEurope,&#8221; Polestar CEO Michael Lohscheller said.<\/div>\n<div>Polestar has focused its attention on catering to growing \u200cdemand \u2060in European markets while sales in the U.S. remain sluggish due to growing competitive pressures and slower consumer spending.<\/div>\n<div>Around 94% of Polestar&#8217;s sales volume in the first quarter of this year came from markets outside \u200bthe U.S., it \u200bsaid.<\/div>\n<div>The decision raises \u2060questions about the future of the Polestar 3, which is the only model manufactured in the U.S.<\/div>\n<div>Amid \u200btariff pressures, the company has opted to roll out \u200brefreshed versions \u2060of aging models rather than launching all-new ones.
