WASHINGTON, May 29 (Reuters) – A U.S. \u200bjudge on Friday temporarily \u200cblocked President Donald Trump’s administration from setting up a \u200bnearly $1.8 billion fund to \u200bcompensate victims of what \u2060Trump has called government \u201cweaponization.”<\/div>\n
The \u200border by U.S. District \u200bJudge Leonie Brinkema of the Eastern District of Virginia blocks the \u200bTrump administration from “taking \u200bany further action” to set up \u200cor \u2060operate the fund while the judge hears additional legal arguments.<\/div>\n
