Starlink, the satellite \u200bbroadband business, also faces technological hurdles, many of which may be outside the company&#8217;s control, he said.<\/div><div>&#8220;We think the company has been significantly overvalued and investors will have opportunities \u200bto buy the stock at more attractive levels after the IPO,&#8221; Owens \u200bsaid.<\/div><div>The warning stands out as a rare contrarian view at a time when enthusiasm \u200cfor \u2060the IPO has been high.<\/div><div>SpaceX is aiming to launch the roadshow on June 4, with the stock scheduled to debut on the Nasdaq on June 12, Reuters has reported.<\/div><div>Morningstar said the stock could ascend in the near term, \u200bgiven the low \u200bfloat and the \u2060strong cadre of major investment banks underwriting the IPO.<\/div><div>Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, BofA Securities, Citigroup and J.P. Morgan are \u200bamong the underwriters for SpaceX&#8217;s share sale.<\/div><div>However, &#8220;long-term investors eager \u200bto participate \u2060in SpaceX&#8217;s future endeavors and potential success will have opportunities to do so with a greater margin of safety than the initial offering is likely to \u2060provide,&#8221; \u200bOwens said.<\/div><div>SpaceX is targeting a valuation of $1.75 \u200btrillion in the IPO, Reuters has reported.
