The department works with companies such as OpenAI and \u200bAnthropic to test their models.<\/div><div>Altman wants to \u200bexpand that initiative, the company said in a statement. The \u200ccompanies \u2060aren&#8217;t obligated to make any changes to their products based on the outcome of the testing, which Altman does not want to \u200bchange.<\/div><div>Altman&#8217;s visit to \u200bWashington coincides \u2060with a critical period for the company.
