For that I am sorry.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div>This is a second clarification of his remarks \u200bfollowing an earlier post that reiterated his point and \u200bexplained why the lender is cutting some 15% of its back-office support \u200cjobs.<\/div>\n<div>&#8220;It&#8217;s \u2060not cost-cutting. It&#8217;s replacing in some cases lower-value human capital with the financial capital and the investment capital we&#8217;re putting in,&#8221; Winters said on Tuesday as the \u200bbank announced it \u200bwould slash nearly \u20608,000 jobs as it adopts AI technology.<\/div>\n<div>In his latest post, Winters included a transcript \u200bof his full remarks, which he said showed \u200bthat \u2060he valued his colleagues &#8220;most highly&#8221; and included preceding context that the bank was &#8220;giving every opportunity&#8221; to at-risk employees who \u2060want \u200bto learn new skills.<\/div>\n<div>Hong Kong and \u200bSingapore regulators have sought clarification from the bank about Winters&#8217;
